Back in 2020, we noticed something that didn’t sit right with us. Families in West Georgia—especially those raising neurodiverse children—were driving nearly 90 minutes each way to Marietta just to get the autism care they needed. That’s three hours in the car for every appointment, on top of everything else these families were already carrying.
Parents began reaching out. Community leaders spoke up. They all asked the same question: “Can’t we have quality care right here at home?”
So, we decided to do something about it.
Planting Roots in Carrollton
In 2020, Triad Psych opened our Carrollton office. It wasn’t easy—there was pushback from insurance companies who didn’t think specialized care should be so easy to access. But we knew this was the right thing for families in our community.
Our Carrollton clinic became a place where children and adults could find help with Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury, and other neurological conditions, while also offering general therapy services for anyone who needed them. At the heart of it all is Army Veteran John Prucha, whose training with the Amen Clinic brings world-class expertise right here to West Georgia.
Growing With Our Community
Now, in 2025, we’ve taken another big step forward. We’re thrilled to welcome John Mark Parker to our team. With his arrival, we can now provide:
🌈 Therapies designed for LGBTQ+ individuals – creating safe, affirming spaces for healing and growth.
🧸 Specialized care for young children starting at age 4 – giving families the support they need early in their journey.
Why We Do What We Do
This all started with families asking for better access to care. And today, our Carrollton office has become more than a clinic—it’s a place where neighbors can come for understanding, support, and hope.
At Triad Psych, we believe no one should have to travel far from home to find the care they deserve. We’re proud to stand with West Georgia, and we look forward to continuing this journey with you.
