Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LMSW (she, her)

Practicing in our Marietta office.

Life can change in an instant. A diagnosis, loss, new caregiving responsibility, or unexpected transition can leave us feeling overwhelmed, uncertain and disconnected from the life we imagined. These circumstances raise difficult questions about identity, meaning, purpose, and how to move forward when circumstances are beyond our control. As a therapist, I help clients develop practical coping skills while creating space for reflection, healing, and personal growth. My goal is to help people navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.

My approach is grounded in humanistic, existential, cognitive, and biopsychosocial perspectives, which means I view each person as more than a diagnosis or a collection of symptoms. I believe that our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, physical health, and life experiences all shape how we experience the world.

I most often help clients navigate challenges with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, grief, trauma, and neurodivergence. Therapy with me is tailored to your goals and may involve building coping skills, enhancing self-understanding, processing life experiences, and creating meaningful growth. Together, we’ll explore patterns that shape your experiences, build practical coping strategies, and engage in creative activities that encourage meaningful reflection. Through art journaling and other expressive techniques, we’ll foster insight, healing, resilience, and personal growth.

I am an active founding member of the Death, Dying, & Bereavement Research Consortium at Kennesaw State University. My peer-reviewed, published research examines the individual, relational, and systemic factors that influence end-of-life planning and surrogate decision-making.

When life feels overwhelming, it’s easy to lose sight of your strengths and direction. Together, we can explore what you’re facing, build practical coping strategies, and create a path forward. If this resonates with you, I’d be honored to support your journey. Appointments are available in person and online, including evenings and Saturdays.
